Speaking after his victory, Littler advised Sky Sports Darts that he was “glad” to achieve the semi-final on his debut within the competitors.
“I’ve earned it and my performances have been well,” he mentioned.
“I’ve threw another 100+ average and my doubles are on 47 per cent, so it’s gone well today as well.”
He mentioned he had a “good chance” of turning into a world champion if he can “keep it up”.
“Now I am dreaming! I’m two games away. I’m definitely thinking about lifting the title,” he mentioned.
Littler will now face Rob Cross in his semi remaining on Tuesday evening.
“He was unbelievable on debut as well and so am I. I’m looking forward to playing Rob tomorrow night,” he mentioned.
“I didn’t like waking up at nine in the morning, so tomorrow chill and come back in the evening.”
