According to an investigation report by The Sun, in June, the Taliban captured 700 trucks, Humvees, dozens of armored vehicles and artillery from Afghan security forces. The report said that some pictures posted on social media were investigated. This means that the vast amount of military equipment donated or sold to Afghanistan to help fight the Taliban is going to the terrorist organization itself.
Data obtained from the open-source investigative report was published in the Oryx blog by Stijn Mitzer and Jost Olimans. The blog was previously promoted as a detailed open-source investigation into equipment damage in the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The constantly updated figures include hundreds of photos posted online by the Taliban showing captured Afghan military equipment.

According to the blog, as of the evening of June 30, research has found evidence of 715 light vehicles being captured by the Taliban and another 65 destroyed. Foreign media reports said the Taliban had confiscated equipment and ammunition left by US forces. According to media reports, a video released by the Taliban also claims that they have seized several weapons from Afghan forces. Although the Taliban has not yet released any photos or videos in this regard.
After nearly 20 years, America is also calling back its last soldiers after ending the war in Afghanistan. America is leaving behind a government in which there is a lot of differences and corruption. In such a situation, the ongoing peace talks with the Taliban are also expected to end. As foreign troops are stepping back from the war, the terrorist organization Taliban is spreading its feet in Afghanistan. It is believed that as soon as America leaves Afghanistan, the country will once again be in the grip of civil war.
