Sky News has joined different UK broadcasters and organisations from all over the world to name for entry to Gaza to report on the warfare.

In a letter to the Israeli and Egyptian embassies, Sky News collectively with others wrote: “Almost five months into the war in Gaza, foreign reporters are still being denied access to the territory, outside of the rare and escorted trips with the Israeli military.
“We urge the governments of Israel and Egypt to permit free and unfettered entry to Gaza for all overseas media. We name on the federal government of Israel to overtly state its permission for worldwide journalists to function in Gaza and for the Egyptian authorities to permit worldwide journalists entry to the Rafah Crossing.”
The letter continues: “There is intense world curiosity within the occasions in Gaza and for now the one reporting has come from journalists who had been already primarily based there.
“It’s vital that local journalists’ safety is respected and that their efforts are bolstered by the journalism of members of the international media.
