Six individuals have been killed in a helicopter crash close to Mount Everest after getting back from a sightseeing tour.
The plane got here down on Tuesday morning close to Likhu – simply north of Nepal’s capital Kathmandu.
Five Mexican vacationers and their Nepalese pilot died, based on Kathmandu airport official Teknath Sitoula.
Authorities stated the victims had already been recovered.
The helicopter was operated by Manang Air, which runs vacationer flights, search and rescue operations and expedition flights to Everest.
“The helicopter took off… in good weather,” stated an organization spokesperson.
“The weather was not bad. Now we can’t say what caused the crash. It will have to be investigated.”
But one other airport official, Sagar Kadel, stated the climate had compelled the helicopter to alter its route.
