A British vacationer has instructed how he escaped a “scene from Dante’s Inferno” because of a helicopter dowsing a path via a wildfire.

Mr Mitchell made the remarks as journey agency Tui stated it had returned some holidaymakers to the UK from Rhodes on “three dedicated flights”.
