The Indian Embassy in Ukraine has issued a third advisory for the stranded Indians there. The Indian Embassy has said that due to the martial law in Ukraine, movement is difficult at present. People hearing sirens and bomb warnings should reach the nearest shelter to avoid the bomb. The embassy has advised that Indian citizens should not leave until rescue arrangements are made.
Indian Ambassador to Ukraine Partha Satpathy has also appealed to the citizens to face the situation with peace and patience. He said, “The air route is closed, the railway timetable is uncertain and the roads are congested. I request everyone to remain calm and face the situation with patience. ”He said that the Indian Embassy in Kiev is open and its work is going on. Currently 20,000 Indians are in Ukraine, mostly students.

It was said in the advisory that the embassy establishment is in touch with the arrangements for the stay of such students who are stranded in Kiev. It further said, “We know that air sirens and bomb warnings are being heard at certain places. People facing such a situation should go to the nearest bomb shelter. Its information is available on Google Maps. It said, “However, considering the situation, the embassy is trying to work out a possible solution. Be alert and safe about the things around you. Unless it is necessary, do not leave your homes. Keep your documents with you at all times.

India’s Ambassador to Ukraine Partha Satpathy has also appealed to the stranded Indians to face the situation calmly and with patience. Partha Satpathy said in his video message that the situation is very tense and uncertain and it is a matter of great concern. He said that the Ministry of External Affairs and the embassy are working on ‘mission mode’ to find a solution to this situation. He further said, “I urge you to stay at your familiar places wherever you are. Those who are stuck here in Kiev, please contact your friends and colleagues in Kiev, universities and other members of the community, so that you can stay there temporarily.
Satpathy said, “There are a large number of calls coming to me and the embassy and we are trying our best to help. In case of any emergency, you can contact us on the emergency number. The ambassador also asked Indians to follow the embassy’s social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) for any updates.
