The news of the disappearance of another plane is coming from Russia. According to reports, a small plane has gone missing in Siberia, Russia, in which 17 people were on board. A Russian passenger plane carrying 17 people has gone missing during a flight over Siberia, officials said on Friday. The regional branch of the Russian Emergency Ministry said the An-28 plane went missing on Friday in the Tomsk region of western Siberia.
The Emergency Situations Office said there were 14 passengers and three crew members on board the plane, including four children. Officials said that a search is on for the plane. The plane went missing with 28 people
Earlier a Russian plane, in which 28 people were on board, went missing. In early July, media reports quoting regional officials said a Russian plane carrying about 28 people had gone missing over the Kamchatka peninsula in Russia’s Far Eastern region. TASS quoted a separate source as saying that the AN-26 aircraft lost contact with air traffic control when it was trying to land.
According to the news agency Reuters, Interfax and RIA Novosti agencies, citing the Ministry of Emergencies, said that the plane was flying from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to Palana in the Kamchatka Peninsula when it lost contact. AFP reported that the 28 people on board included six crew members and 22 passengers had one or two children.
Everyone died in the accident
However, later in the evening the same day, the wreckage of the plane was found from a nearby beach. According to Russian media, all the people died in the accident. Kamchatka governor Vladimir Solodov told the Interfax news agency that the main part of the plane was found on the beach, while the rest of the broken part was found in the sea near the shore. According to Russian media reports, none of the 28 people on board the plane survived the crash.
