Russian troops are withdrawing from town of Kherson and surrounding areas within the south of Ukraine.
Russia’s prime commander in Ukraine, General Sergei Surovikin mentioned it’s not potential to produce town and different elements of the west financial institution of the Dnipro River that it lies on.
In televised feedback, he mentioned: “We will save the lives of our soldiers and fighting capacity of our units.
“Keeping them on the suitable (western) financial institution is futile.
“Some of them can be used on other fronts.”
Russia’s defence minister Sergei Shoigu responded by saying: “I agree with your conclusions and proposals.
“Proceed with the withdrawal of troops and take all measures to switch forces throughout the river.”
