Henderson: A woman attacked her partner with a knife to avenge the death of an Iranian military officer in a US drone strike in 2020. police gave this information. Soleimani, the top Iranian military official, was killed in a US drone strike in January 2020. Soleimani was leading the Kurdish force of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, which is responsible for the Islamic Republic’s overseas operations. Police said that after the attack, the man pushed Nicobin and ran outside the room and later informed the police about the incident.
Police said Nicobin also came out of the room and told hotel staff that he had just attacked a man with a knife. During interrogation to the police, Nicobin told that “she wanted to take revenge.” Nicobin reported that he had heard the song ‘Grave Digger’, which “inspired vengeance”. (agency)
