The Princess of Wales has undergone belly surgical procedure in London and can stay in hospital for as much as two weeks, Kensington Palace introduced.
In an announcement, the palace stated: “Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales was admitted to The London Clinic yesterday for deliberate belly surgical procedure.
“The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery.
“Based on the present medical recommendation, she is unlikely to return to public duties till after Easter.”
The statement continued: “The Princess of Wales appreciates the curiosity this assertion will generate. She hopes that the general public will perceive her need to take care of as a lot normality for her kids as potential; and her want that her private medical data stays personal.”
The palace stated they’ll solely present updates on Her Royal Highness’ progress “when there is significant new information to share”.
“The Princess of Wales wishes to apologise to all those concerned for the fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements. She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible,” the palace added.
