Essex Police are investigating a number of incidents of a person taking dummies out of infants’ mouths.
Four such incidents had been reported round Harlow between 10 February and seven August.
A toddler was additionally assaulted on one event.
The suspect is described as slim, white, and aged in his 20s, with gentle brown eyes and yellow tooth.
Police have launched a picture of a person they want to converse to in reference to the incidents.
The image, which was taken from behind, exhibits an individual in a black hooded prime and carrying a black Nike bag with a white brand. His face just isn’t proven within the picture.
Essex Police have requested anybody who recognises the person, or has seen somebody matching the outline appearing suspiciously, to contact them.
Chief Inspector Paul Austin, district commander for Harlow, mentioned: “This is a series of unusual incidents and, as a parent myself, I understand the level of concern they will cause.
“However, I need to reassure the individuals of Harlow that we’ve got detectives devoted to investigating these incidents, have linked earlier incidents, and my groups will likely be seen out locally to supply reassurance.
“I would urge you to continue going about your daily business as usual but be vigilant of anyone acting suspiciously.
“I would like anybody who has info or recognises this particular person to contact us.”
