Police are “extremely concerned” over the disappearance of a lady who vanished in South Ayrshire days earlier than Christmas.
Laura Wilkie, 43, was final seen sitting on a bench close to Ayr’s Millenium Bridge at round 8.30pm on Monday 18 December.
On Wednesday, investigating officers carried out a stop-and-speak operation within the space in an effort to collect extra data and spark anybody’s reminiscence who might have seen her on the time.

Chief Inspector Kevin Lammie mentioned: “Laura isn’t known to travel far from home and goes out in the Ayr, Ayr Beach and Doonfoot areas.

“As time passes, we are extremely concerned for Laura’s safety and wellbeing.”
Ms Wilkie is described as slim, round 5ft 4in tall, with greying, intently cropped hair.
She was final seen sporting a darkish padded coat with a beige fur-trimmed hood and one other darkish waterproof jacket over it.
Ms Wilkie was additionally sporting black leggings, black sneakers and carrying a black rucksack.
