The rules will be applicable from this day
According to local media, Singapore’s Ministry of Health has said that from 11.59 pm on Thursday night, all travelers coming from India will have to complete stay home notice for an additional seven days. Meaning after 14 days of quarantine, they will have to stay at home for seven days. Those who are currently completing a 14-day quarantine period at home, will also have to stay at home for an additional seven days.
COVID test will have to be done twice
Passengers must first undergo a COVID test after the completion of their 14-day quarantine period. After this, even after staying at home for an additional seven days, the corona test will have to be done. Migrant laborers and other job workers engaged in construction work from India will have to stay at home for 21 days. The Ministry says that this decision has been taken to reduce the risk.
Discounts to those coming from hong kong
Meanwhile, Singapore has given additional discounts to travelers coming from Hong Kong. Now they have to stay in Quarantine for 7 days instead of 14. He can also spend these seven days at his home. This rule will apply to those travelers who were in Hong Kong for 14 consecutive days. The RT-PCR test will take place as soon as these passengers arrive at the airport and even after the completion of the seven-day quarantine. Travelers coming from Britain and South Africa to Singapore will also be allowed to enter with some conditions.
