3. Italy

Italy has the third highest gold reserves in the world. Italy has a total gold fund of 2,451.8 MT. The share of gold in this country’s foreign exchange reserves is 71.3 percent.

4. France

France comes in fourth place in terms of gold reserves. France has a total gold reserves of 2,436 metric tons. Gold accounts for 65.5 percent of this country’s foreign exchange reserves.

5. Russia

Russia is at the fifth position in terms of gold reserves. Russia has a total gold reserves of 2,299.9 metric tons. Gold accounts for 23 percent of this country’s foreign exchange reserves.

10. Netherlands

The Netherlands is ranked 10th in terms of gold reserves. The Netherlands has total gold reserves of 612.5 MT. The share of gold in this country’s foreign exchange reserves is 71.4 percent.
