For this, it is providing assistance to Pakistan to deal with the social and economic effects of vaccination and epidemics. In addition to providing financial assistance to Pakistan for the vaccine, the World Bank has provided US $ 768.5 million to Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka for vaccination and vaccine procurement.
Vaccination of 39 lakh people in Pakistan so far
Apart from providing funds to various countries of the world, the World Bank is also helping to design and implement fair and equitable vaccine strategies for the countries of South Asia.
