Pakistan Reaction on PM Modi Kashmir Meeting: Pakistan is stunned by the meeting on Jammu and Kashmir chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has called the meeting a ‘drama’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had an important meeting with 14 leaders of the Union Territory to prepare a blueprint for the future strategy in Jammu and Kashmir. On which Pakistan was setting its eyes. Qureshi said, ‘The meeting on Kashmir in New Delhi was a drama, it was a PR exercise. It was also recognized that Kashmir is far from both the heart and Delhi.
Qureshi said that nothing has been achieved from this meeting. He alleged that ever since Article 370 was removed, the image of India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been damaged. Through this meeting, an attempt has been made to improve this deteriorating image. Let us tell you that Pakistan has been raising the issue of Kashmir continuously for some time. India has made it clear that Kashmir is an integral part of India and it will not tolerate any interference by any other country in the internal affairs of India. Despite this, Pakistan is not deterring from its antics.

Four former Chief Ministers and four former Deputy Chief Ministers of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir participated in this meeting held in Delhi. National Conference patriarch Farooq Abdullah, his son and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, President of Peoples Democratic Party (JKPDP) and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, former Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Congress leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand and State Congress President Ghulam Ahmed Mir attended the meeting.

Apart from these, the leader of the People’s Conference and former Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussain Baig, Bhim Singh from the Panthers Party, Mohammad Yusuf Tarigami of the Communist Party of Marxist and many other leaders also attended this meeting. The meeting was organized at the Prime Minister’s residence on Thursday (PM Modi Meet on Kashmir Issue). The all-party meeting lasted for about three and a half hours. The meeting ended at around 6:30 in the evening. In which the current situation of Kashmir and its future were discussed.
