According to the report, many types of information can be entered in this chip like your device’s unlock code, business card, public transport card. Now people have also started using it as a vaccine pass for COVID-19. People who have implanted this chip inside their skin say that by doing this people can keep their data safe. Hans Soblad, managing director of Disruptive Subdermals, said, “The cost of implanting a chip is 100 euros (Rs 8,500). This can happen only if you want to implant a more developed version of it.
Soblad further said that, ‘This chip does not have a battery, it cannot transmit any kind of signal. It cannot do any work by itself. It doesn’t even share your location. It works even when you touch it with your smartphone.” Soblad clarified that all implants are voluntary. No one can force anyone to get a chip implant.
