Nepal’s Immigration Department issued a notice on Thursday, stating that the government has decided to restore the regular visa service from July 2 in view of health and safety regulations. The notice said that foreign nationals with valid visas of Nepal till April 28 and those departing from the country till July 8, their visas will be regulated at no charge at the time of departure from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
Such foreign nationals departing from Nepal will have to pay fees for regulation of visas, who will apply for it after July 8. Explain that due to the friendly relations between Nepal and India, citizens of both countries do not need a passport while traveling to each other’s country. However, Nepal and India have been tense for some time due to some controversial statements of Nepalese Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Nepali told yoga
Recently, on the occasion of International Yoga Day, Oli had said that Yoga originated in Nepal. He said that India did not even exist when Yoga was born. Oli said that about 15 thousand years ago, Shambhunath or Shiva propounded the yoga practices. Later, Maharishi Patanjali developed the philosophy of yoga in a more sophisticated and systematic way. He said that yoga does not belong to any particular religion or religious sect.
