Police investigating the homicide of 16-year-old Harry Pitman in London on New Year’s Eve have launched photos of two folks they need to establish and communicate to.
The teenager had been with associates close to the viewing platform on Primrose Hill earlier than he was stabbed to loss of life.
Detectives have mentioned Harry was concerned in an “altercation that would have devastating consequences”.
The photos of two males have been shared after a 15-year-old boy was held on suspicion of homicide on Tuesday, whereas an 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray.
A 16-year-old boy who was arrested on the scene on suspicion of homicide has been launched on bail pending additional enquiries.
Police are urging anybody with info on the boys pictured as we speak to come back ahead.
Detective Chief Inspector Geoff Grogan mentioned: “Despite having made three arrests, I am still very keen to hear from anyone who has footage or information that could assist our investigation, particularly if you can name any of the people in the images.”
DCI Grogan added that Harry’s household are “devastated” and officers proceed to help them as they “struggle to come to terms with their loss”.
He added that police have up to now established there was no racial or gang factor to the altercation that left Harry useless.
“It appears to have been a spontaneous fight between two people who didn’t know each other, that quickly escalated to extreme violence,” DCI Grogan added.
Harry’s older sister Tayla earlier described her brother as a “good boy” who had a “heart of gold” and wouldn’t have been concerned in violence.
The 19-year-old mentioned in a TikTok video: “We’re already grieving as it is and now, on top of that, we’ve got people saying that our baby boy, who’s a victim, an innocent victim, his death was warranted because it was gang-related when it wasn’t.
“I simply need everybody to know that Harry was boy, and he would by no means damage anybody.”

She added: “Harry was not in any way shape or form involved with any gangs or anyone who could cause trouble.”
Harry was amongst 21 youngsters killed in violent incidents in London in 2023, 18 of whom have been stabbed.
Around 100 folks, together with his mom, brother and sister, gathered at Downhills Park in Haringey, north London, on Tuesday night to pay their respects, with many carrying flowers and balloons.
