Zoleka Mandela, the granddaughter of the primary post-apartheid president of South Africa Nelson Mandela, has died aged 43, the household has stated.
A message on her Instagram web page stated Ms Mandela went into hospital on 18 September for therapy for metastatic most cancers, which was on her hip, liver, lung, pelvis, mind and spinal wire.
“Recent scans revealed significant disease progression including fibrosis in the lungs as well as several emboli,” the assertion stated.
“Zoleka passed away on the evening of Monday, 25 September, surrounded by friends and family. Our sincerest gratitude to the medical team that took care of her.”
