Massive Attack have mentioned they’re “devastated” after the British band’s guitarist Angelo Bruschini died.
The Bristol-born musician had mentioned in a social media publish in July that he had been recognized with lung most cancers.
Massive Attack confirmed the dying on Tuesday, calling Bruschini “a brilliant, eccentric talent”.
Sharing a black and white picture of the guitarist on Instagram, the band mentioned it was “impossible to quantify your contribution”.
“How lucky we were to share such a life together,” the band’s tribute added.
The trip-hop band was shaped within the Nineteen Eighties and secured two number-one albums within the UK with Mezzanine and one hundredth Window.
They gained a Brit award in 1996 for finest British dance act and the excellent contribution to British music prize on the Ivor Novello Awards in 2009.

Bruschini wrote a publish on Facebook in July updating followers about his most cancers analysis.
“Twice now I have been told ‘good luck’ by specialists at the hospital over lung cancer, I think I’m f*****!
“Had an incredible life, seen the world many many instances, met numerous fantastic individuals, however the door is closing, suppose I’ll write a e-book,” he mentioned on the time.
