A 34-year-old man has been sentenced to eight months in jail for biting a police canine and assaulting an officer.
Matthew Boulter, of Grimsby, was sentenced in courtroom on Tuesday after pleading responsible to assaulting an emergency providers employee and inflicting pointless struggling to an animal.
He additionally entered a responsible plea for assault, prison harm and two counts of battery.
Boulter was arrested on 14 August after police obtained reviews of a collection of assaults earlier that night.
During his arrest he punched and kicked some fencing in direction of a police officer, inflicting minor accidents.
