A lightning strike has prompted main disruption to the rail community within the Midlands, affecting festivalgoers attending Radio 2 In The Park in Leicester.
East Midlands Railway (EMR) stated there had been “multiple points failures” affecting companies to and from cities together with Sheffield, Nottingham and Derby.
None of its trains are operating north or south of Leicester both, the corporate stated.
CrossCountry Trains stated a few of its companies within the area had additionally been affected.
