A Labour MP has been suspended over allegations of “serious sexual misconduct”.
Christian Matheson has been MP for the City of Chester since 2015.
A Labour spokesperson mentioned: “This is an incredibly serious case. There must be a zero tolerance for sexual harassment and the Labour Party has acted immediately following the ICGS findings.
“We will now choose a candidate that the folks of Chester may be proud to vote for.”
