Ok-pop star Kyuhyun has been injured whereas making an attempt to restrain an “intruder” carrying a knife inside a theatre, his document label has mentioned.
The musical actor and member of boy band Super Junior was on the LG Arts Center in Seoul when the incident occurred on Sunday.
The 35-year-old’s document label mentioned he sustained a “minor abrasion on his finger” and was “fully capable of continuing” his regular actions.
The South Korean performer was backstage with different actors within the Ben-Hur musical when the incident is alleged to have occurred.
Local media stories mentioned a lady, who was not identified to any of the actors, had been arrested.

In a press release on X, previously generally known as Twitter, Antenna Music mentioned the altercation happened throughout Kyuhyun’s go to to “celebrate the final performance of the musical”.
“While he was in the dressing room, Kyuhyun encountered an outsider who caused distress to other actors,” the label added.
“In the course of restraining the intruder, he had a minor abrasion on his finger.
“He was immediately treated on the spot and is currently in good health, fully capable of continuing his regular activities.
“We categorical our gratitude to all of the devoted followers for his or her real concern.
“Rest assured, we remain committed to supporting the artist.”
