Liam Gallagher has spoken out about shedding family members to suicide as a part of a marketing campaign encouraging males to speak about their psychological well being.
The Oasis frontman and now solo star has launched his newest single Too Good For Giving Up to mark World Mental Health Day on 10 October.
He has teamed up with Talk Club to share the track’s message and is about to reply questions on psychological well being by the charity’s Twitter account.
“We all know someone affected by suicide, which sadly seems to be at an all-time high,” Gallagher stated. “I’ve lost many people far too early and it’s important to talk. I’m really pleased to be able to help in any way with this song.”
UK earnings from the track shall be donated to Talk Club for six months.
In the monitor, Gallagher sings: “Remember you belong here as much as anyone / Even when you’re just about to break.”
Ahead of the track’s video premiering, the star shared a photograph of himself on Instagram, asking followers: “How are you? Out of 10?”
