An Irish-Israeli girl who went lacking after Hamas attacked a music pageant on the weekend has been confirmed lifeless.
Kim Damti, 22, was on the occasion in Re’im in southern Israel when she was final seen, the Irish authorities confirmed.
The pageant was attended by a number of hundred individuals when Hamas gunmen opened hearth.
Her sister Laura paid tribute to Ms Damti on Facebook, calling her “our angel, our flower. Kim my blood. Who was murdered by the cursed terrorists.”
In a press release tonight the Irish international minister, Michael Martin, stated: “When information reached us over the weekend that an Irish citizen was one of many many a whole lot lacking after the repugnant terrorist assault by Hamas in Israel, we hoped towards hope that she can be discovered safely.
“The news that this hope has now been extinguished is devastating.
“Anyone trying on the picture of Kim within the media over the previous few days could have been struck by the radiance and power in her expression; a younger 22-year-old girl with a complete life forward of her, stuffed with promise.”
“For anyone to lose a child is devastating. To lose a child in such circumstances is indescribable.”
Around 250 persons are believed to have been murdered on the pageant close to the Gaza border on Saturday.
