NGC 2313 Nebula (NASA)
The US Space Agency NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has photographed a nebula named NGC 2313. NGC 2313 is located in the Monoceros constellation at a distance of about 3,756 light years from Earth. The nebula in space is a bright field made up of dust and gas. Apart from this, nebula are also formed from a large cluster of stars, which are seen shining in the darkness of night.
The NGC 2313 nebula was discovered on January 4, 1862 by German astronomer Heinrich Louis D’Art. This nebula gets energy from a young and bright star V565. Hubble’s astronomers state that the V565 is surrounded by four main bright light lines. A portion of the V565 looks shiny like silver due to gas and dust, while its right part is surrounded by dense dust, which looks somewhat brown.
The work of removing obsolete languages of astronomical history continues
Scientists said that the oak nebula with such a shape was called the Comet Nebula at the time, but now this name is not in vogue. He said that as we are getting more information about the universe, the language of the astronomers is changing. Astronomical history is full of obsolete words to describe the objects of space visible in the night sky. For example, the terms ‘spiral nebula’, ‘spiral galaxy’ and ‘small planets’ for Mercury and Venus were full. But over time these words are being removed.
Hubble telescope launched in 1990
Let me tell you that the Hubble telescope was launched in 1990 and till now it has done observations of more than 1.3 million times. The Hubble telescope has been circling the Earth for the last 31 years. During this time, it has taken more than one excellent pictures. The telescope is named after the American astronomer Edwin P. Hubble. Scientists say that through the photographs taken by it, there will be a desire among children to learn about the solar system.
