Barnsley FC’s coach caught fireplace after struggling “complications” whereas the workforce had been travelling again from their match towards Exeter City.
The League One aspect has stated “everyone is in good health” after the hearth.
A video shared on Snapchat by Barnsley defender Barry Cotter reveals the coach in flames on the aspect of a busy highway.
Somebody off digital camera says “we’re going to have to fly to Orient now” in reference to the workforce’s subsequent fixture towards Leyton Orient.
In an announcement on X, previously generally known as Twitter, Barnsley FC stated: “We can affirm that on the best way again from our fixture towards Exeter City this night, our membership coach suffered problems and subsequently caught fireplace.
“All players and staff on board were evacuated safely. Everyone is in good health. We would like to thank the emergency services for their swift response.
“The membership will make no additional remark at the moment and is targeted on guaranteeing the protected return of employees and gamers.”
A social media consumer posted a picture of the burning coach on X and wrote: “Thankfully all players and staff on board were evacuated safely and everyone is in good health.”
Barnsley received their match towards Exeter City 1 – 0.
