A five-year-old boy has died and a nine-year-old woman is significantly injured after they have been hit by a bus in Glasgow.
The youngsters have been struck by a single-decker at round 5.40pm on Tuesday.
Emergency providers attended with paramedics treating the five-year-old on the scene. However, he was pronounced lifeless a short while later.
The nine-year-old schoolgirl was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, the place her situation has been described as critical however secure.
The incident occurred on Calder Street within the metropolis, close to the Hickman Street junction.
The street was closed and finally reopened at round 11.55pm.
