A father has been arrested after a toddler was seen holding a loaded handgun exterior their residence in Indiana.
Footage from a neighbour’s safety digital camera had proven the toddler holding the pistol within the hallway of the advanced within the metropolis of Beech Grove and at one level pulling the set off.
However, no bullets have been fired from the weapon, in line with Indianapolis TV station WXIN.
While no rounds have been within the gun’s chamber, there have been 15 rounds within the journal.
The toddler’s father, 45, was arrested and is predicted to seem in court docket for his preliminary listening to on Tuesday afternoon, NBC News has reported.
Live footage of the daddy’s arrest was filmed by and broadcast on the fact TV present known as On Patrol: Live, which follows legislation enforcement officers on obligation, Beech Grove Police Department has stated.
The father has been accused of felony neglect of a dependent, police stated.
The boy, whose age has not been reported, doesn’t seem to have been harmed within the incident.

Police seized a semiautomatic Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol through the arrest, WXIN reported.
Beech Grove mayor Dennis Buckley stated he had obtained notification of the incident shortly after it happened.
He stated: “As with all of you, I’m mortified at what took place and I’m so thankful that no one was hurt, especially the young child.”
The mayor added: “I appreciate the quick action taken by the Beech Grove Police Department to secure the small child and the gun in question.
“I ask that the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office work tirelessly to safe costs and a conviction towards the accountable events, with most penalties. Society should not settle for something much less.”
