The household of Scarlett Jenkinson – who has been jailed for 22 years for murdering Brianna Ghey – have mentioned they’re “truly sorry”.
The killers, each 16, who have been named for the primary time on Friday, had denied homicide and blamed one another for the assault, which was described as “horrific” by detectives.
Jenkinson and Eddie Ratcliffe have been 15 once they carried out their “disturbing” plan to homicide her in a “frenzied and ferocious” assault with a looking knife.
Jenkinson was jailed for at the very least 22 years and Ratcliffe for at least 20 years. They shall be transferred to grownup prisons once they flip 18.

In a press release given completely to the Warrington Guardian, the household of Jenkinson mentioned: “All of our thoughts are for Brianna and her family.

Brianna was stabbed with a looking knife 28 occasions in her head, neck, chest and again after being lured to Linear Park, Culcheth, a village close to Warrington, Cheshire, on the afternoon of 11 February final 12 months.
