A fleece from Dolly, the world’s first cloned sheep, will go on show at National Museums Scotland.
The museum in Edinburgh already has her preserved physique, demise masks and fellow cloned sheep Morag and Megan on show.
Now the fleece has been donated by Dr William A Ritchie, an embryologist on the crew that created Dolly.
Dolly the sheep was born in 1996 on the Roslin Institute simply exterior Edinburgh, the place she spent her complete life, gave start to 6 wholesome lambs and died in 2003 aged six.
