A preferred supply driver who was hit by his personal van and dragged for a “considerable distance” has died in hospital, police have mentioned.
Mark Lang is believed to have been delivering parcels in Laytonia Avenue, Cardiff, on 28 March when he was hit by his white van, which had allegedly been stolen.
The 54-year-old died in hospital within the early hours of Sunday morning, simply over two weeks later.
Speaking by way of the police, his companion mentioned: “Mark was a good man, with a lot of love to give. He passed in the early hours of the morning surrounded by family. Peacefully. Comfortably. Loved.
“He can be sorely missed.”
Police previously said Mr Lang had been dragged for a “appreciable distance” by his own vehicle.
Christopher Elgifari, 31, of Aberdare, appeared before Cardiff Crown Court on 3 April, charged with attempted murder.

Speaking on Sunday, his partner said it was “troublesome to place into phrases how any of us are feeling”.
The woman, who was not named in the police update, added: “Our thanks exit to all of the emergency companies who did their greatest to convey him again to us, the folks on the scene who rallied round him and known as for assist, and all of the employees on the Heath who made certain his closing days had been comfy and who labored tirelessly to assist him and the household.
“Throughout all of this it has been comforting to see so much love and support from so many people who knew Mark. Friends, colleagues, old teammates as well as customers and their dogs.
