Heavy rain is predicted to comb throughout northwest Scotland inflicting potential floods and landslides, forecasters have mentioned.
The Met Office has issued a sequence of climate warnings, beginning with a yellow warning from 6pm on Saturday and an amber warning from midnight – with extended downpours anticipated to result in some flooding and journey disruption.
