A haul of cocaine price £10m has been seized after divers discovered it underwater off the coast of Kent.
The medicine, which weighed 137kg (302lb), have been found by the Border Force National Deep Rummage Team in 4 giant North Face holdalls at Sheerness Port on 14 October.
They have been hidden inside a sea chest in an space of a delivery container used to absorb seawater for stability.
The container was Panama-registered and transporting bananas to the Netherlands, with the NCA now working with the authorities in each nations to hint the supply of the cocaine.
It is considered one of two underwater concealments of sophistication A medicine ever to be found off the UK coast.
In November 2021, 46kg (101.4 kilos) of cocaine was discovered throughout an operation in Bristol.
The Border Force workforce have been assisted by specialist Met Police divers, who needed to work in poor situations.

David Phillips, NCA’s operations supervisor, mentioned: “This was a particularly uncommon and complicated concealment, and reveals how far prison networks will go to get harmful medicine like cocaine into circulation.
“The sale of such class A drugs is controlled by gangs who inflict violence and exploitation in our communities.
“I’d wish to thank the Metropolitan Police’s Diving Team, who labored in difficult situations to get better the medicine, assisted by our colleagues in Border Force.
“Such collaboration shows our collective determination to tackle organised criminal groups head-on, and stem the supply of harmful drugs like cocaine.”
