Two kids discovered useless at a home in Stoke on Sunday have been named by police.
Elizabeth John and Ethan John had been found unresponsive with “significant injuries” at a property in Flax Street.
Despite receiving therapy, each died on the scene.
Ethan was 11 years outdated and Elizabeth was seven.
Ethan’s college stated he was a “wonderful member of our school community” with “impeccable manners and an infectious smile”.
Elizabeth’s college described her as a “ray of sunshine who always had a smile on her face” and was “both bright and popular”.
A 49-year-old lady was arrested on suspicion of homicide after officers had been first known as to a automotive wash following studies of a stabbing. She stays in custody for questioning.
A person in his 40s was taken to hospital however has since been discharged.

Detective Chief Inspector Cheryl Hannan stated specially-trained officers had been supporting “those closest to the children whilst we find out more about what happened”.
She added: “We are solely focussed on finding out what happened to these two children and supporting those affected by this deeply traumatic incident.”
