Human stays that have been found in Lake Mead in May have been recognized as these of a 42-year-old man who was reported to have drowned 20 years in the past, a coroner has discovered.
The United States’ largest reservoir has seen its water stage fall to historic lows by the summer time because of drought circumstances.

The Clark County coroner in Las Vegas recognized the stays, which have been discovered at Callville Bay, as these of Thomas Erndt, spokesman Dan Kulin stated.
Mr Erndt was reported to have drowned on 2 August 2002, he stated.
“The identification was based on investigative information, DNA analysis and reports from the original incident,” Mr Kulin stated in a press release.
“The cause and manner of Mr Erndt’s death is undetermined.”
