The household of a British hiker who went lacking in Switzerland three months in the past have confirmed his physique has been discovered.
Aidan Roche, 29, a chemical engineer from Middlesbrough, was final heard from on 22 June when he was on the Eiger Trail within the Grindelwald space of the Bernese Alps.
The skilled hiker was on a two-week solo tenting journey in Switzerland and was due dwelling inside days when he went lacking.
Mr Roche’s physique was discovered by police “near the trail” the place he had been strolling, the household mentioned.
His brother Connor Roche mentioned it had “hit us all hard” and thanked everybody “who helped us through all of this”.
