A physique recovered from the River Thames in Gloucestershire has been confirmed as {the teenager} who went lacking over the financial institution vacation weekend.
Jake Smith, 17, from Swindon went lacking after taking part in with some buddies within the river close to Lechlade-on-Thames on Sunday night.
He did not resurface after going into the water.
Some of those that have been with him entered the water to attempt to discover Jake, and emergency companies have been referred to as and joined the seek for him.
Specialist divers recovered Jake’s physique from the river yesterday (1 May), police stated.
Jake’s household issued a press release on their loss.
They stated: “We sadly misplaced Jake in a tragic accident.
“The support and messages we have received have been overwhelming and shows the love that people had.
“Jake shall be missed by all his household and buddies.
“We would like to thank the emergency services, the community and especially The Riverside (accommodation, bar and restaurant) for their kindness and support.”

They additionally warned others to be extra attentive to water security, saying: “Although this was a tragic accident, we urge people to stop and think before they jump into the river.”
A Gloucestershire Police spokesman added: “At this time his death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
