Police are “increasingly concerned” for the protection of a 39-year-old girl who has been lacking for 2 weeks.
Lucy Charles has been lacking from the Bangor-on-Dee space, Wrexham, since 22 December.
North Wales Police have carried out “extensive” searches for Ms Charles and private gadgets of hers have been discovered on the financial institution of the River Dee, near the Severn Trent Water Treatment Works.
Ms Charles has been described as roughly 5ft 6 inches tall, with shoulder-length brown hair and glasses.
She was final seen on CCTV strolling previous the Royal Oak pub on Station Road at 5.34pm on the day she went lacking.
She was carrying a navy padded coat, a hi-vis vest, khaki leggings and black boots.
Chief Inspector Stephen Roberts mentioned it had been a “particularly difficult time for Lucy’s family, especially given that we just had the festive period”.
He thanked everybody who had assisted with the searches “in difficult weather and water conditions”.
The drive is asking anybody who was in Bangor-on-Dee throughout that interval in the event that they noticed Ms Charles.
Officers are urging folks to not enterprise close to the River Dee presently as it’s in a “very dangerous state of flooding”.
