Small rubber balls have been present in tins of baked beans offered at Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco, prompting a recall discover.
Customers have been warned to not eat the affected merchandise, which have been recalled by meals producers Princes Group.
The balls, about 2.5cm in diameter, are a choking hazard, the recall discover mentioned.
The recalled merchandise embrace baked beans, baked beans with sausages and bean salad.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is telling anybody who has purchased any of the affected merchandise “do not eat them”.
“Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund,” the company added.
