Two journalists hospitalized
At the same time, Kyiv Oblast Police Chief Andrey Nebitov said that two other journalists were injured in the attack and were taken to hospital. The name of the deceased journalist is Brent Renaud and he worked for The New York Times.

Although he had contributed to the Times in the past (most recently in 2015), he was not on assignment for any desk in Ukraine. Early reports circulated of him working for the Times as he was wearing a Times Press badge that had been issued for an assignment several years ago.”
