At the same time, many countries are concerned about the safety of their citizens present in Ukraine. In such a situation, America has also issued a ‘Security Alert for US Citizens In Ukraine’ for its citizens present in Ukraine. Apart from this, the Indian Embassy has also issued an advisory for its citizens.
The alert issued by the US embassy said that, following the announcement of a ‘military operation’ by Russian President Putin, the US embassy announced a security alert for US citizens in Ukraine. According to the advisory, US citizens in Ukraine are advised to stay in their places.

The Russian ministry also dismissed claims that it shot down a Russian warplane passing through Ukraine. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s military said it had shot down five Russian planes. The European Union said an invasion of Ukraine would have “widespread and serious consequences for Russia” and that more sanctions would be imposed on it soon.
