According to reports, the provincial government of Quebec has advised that affected students can directly contact the institutions where they are registered and if they find any difficulties in reimbursement of their fees or transfer of fees they can approach the Ministry of Higher Education. You can file a complaint. The Government of Quebec has said that students from India planning for higher studies in Canada are again advised to thoroughly verify the credentials and status of the institution before making any payments to such institutions. Please ask for a certificate of accreditation by the Canadian/Provincial Government from the institutions and verify that the selected institution is included in the list of designated educational institutions published on the Government of Canada website. Students should not make any payment or disclose their personal information to any unverified person/institution offering student visa on payment.
