The Princess Royal stated it has been “an honour and a privilege” to accompany the Queen on her remaining journey from Balmoral to London.
In her first assertion because the dying of her mom on Thursday, Princess Anne stated: “I was fortunate to share the last 24 hours of my dearest mother’s life. It has been an honour and a privilege to accompany her on her final journeys.
“Witnessing the love and respect proven by so many on these journeys has been each humbling and uplifting.

The Princess Royal accompanied the Queen’s coffin when it left Balmoral on Sunday and was taken to Edinburgh.
On Monday the King and his siblings took half within the poignant Vigil of the Princes at St Giles’ Cathedral.
