Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is reportedly planning to launch a smartphone in which a 200-megapixel camera can be given. Currently, the largest camera sensor in any smartphone is 108 megapixels.
Gizmochina quoted a report as saying that it is believed that this sensor will be taken from Samsung and it is expected to have 0.64 UM unit pixels.
Recently, a prominent industry expert revealed that South Korean tech giant Samsung is planning to launch a new innovative sensor under ISOcell of the company this year, which will have a 200 megapixel image sensor.
Samsung is also planning to launch 200MP phone
Samsung has also indicated that it is developing a 200-megapixel image sensor with a capacity far greater than the 108-megapixel sensor provided in the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Although it has not been confirmed yet, the company is expected to use the new 200 megapixel sensor in the upcoming Galaxy S22 series flagship smartphone. It can also be a part of the company’s new foldable smartphone.
The report said that last year the company announced that it is working on a 600-megapixel smartphone image sensor, however, it will take several years to launch it in the market. According to the report, meanwhile, we are waiting for the launch of a smartphone equipped with a 200 megapixel camera sensor, which may be revealed soon.
These companies offer 108 megapixel camera
If you talk about now, you will get 108 megapixel camera in smartphones of companies like Xiaomi, Realme, Motorola and Samsung. Moto G60 is the latest smartphone in it. Except Samsung, you can buy 108 megapixel smartphones from other companies for up to 20 thousand rupees.
