However, it was never shipped. In comparison, the more affordable Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro phones, which were launched with the Mi 11 Ultra, were made available to them along with the launch. The sale of Mi 11X continues from April 27 and the sale of Mi 11X Pro from May 3. This is the first time that Xiaomi has announced a product and they have not been able to provide it for so long.
Ahead of today’s official announcement, Xiaomi had maintained complete silence about the availability of the Mi 11 Ultra. In an open letter to the fans, Xiaomi India said that they understand that many of you are eager to buy this ultra premium flagship smartphone. However, due to circumstances out of control, they are regretting that the shipment of the Mi 11 Ultra will be delayed.
According to reports, the Indian government has for months withheld the approval for import of ready-made electronic devices that have Chinese WiFi modules. Due to this many brands have had to postpone their launch. This affects all smartphones imported from China and currently the Mi 11 Ultra smartphone, like the Mi 11X or Mi 11X Pro, is not made in India.
