Early access to Battlegrounds Mobile India went live on Thursday, making the game available in beta via the Google Play Store. It is clear that Battlegrounds Mobile India is essentially PUBG Mobile with minor changes. With the open beta made available just ahead of the previously expected June 18th release date, we are unsure how long this beta phase will last or the release date.
If you are a fan of PUBG Mobile, everything will look familiar when you open Battlegrounds Mobile India on your Android device. After logging in or creating an account with your previous PUBG Mobile credentials, you are greeted with the same home screen and background music as in PUBG Mobile and the best part is, you can save your in-game data in PUBG You can transfer from mobile.
Interestingly, there were prompts asking if the player is over 18 years old and based in India? You can answer this with ‘Yes’ without any verification.
Battleground Mobile India is similar to PUBG
The Erangel map in Battleground Mobile India is very similar to PUBG Mobile, you pick up familiar weapons and equipment using the same customization controls. One of the advantages of having this game back for India is that it was a fast and smooth experience without any interval, frame drop or ping. Although the experience may change slightly when the actual players are on the same server.
