Usually the accounts of VIPs are verified, but now Koo has given the facility to authenticate their own account and this feature has been given by Koo first in the world. It is not necessary to be a VIP for this, only you should have a valid government ID. Right now only Aadhaar has been made live i.e. you can verify your account on Koo through Aadhaar.

Under the new feature of Koo, users have to enter the Aadhaar number, after that as soon as they click on proceed, an OTP comes on the mobile number linked to the Aadhaar, which has to be filled. After the account is verified, a green tick will appear on the profile, which is the proof of verification. During this process, Koo App does not store any information related to it and government approved third party service is taken for verification.
